Gather and define functional requirements for downstream systems including accounting, GL/sub-ledger interfaces, reporting feeds, MIS/regulatory extracts, and reconciliation processesIdentify gaps and ambiguities in requirements and coordinate with business stakeholders to resolve them.
Define end-to-end downstream impacts for deposit-related events such as account opening, maintenance, interest accrual/posting, fees, reversals, closures, and adjustments.
Produce and maintain functional specifications and interface-related documentation including data mappings, field definitions, validation rules, cut-off timings, and error handling requirementsSupport SIT and UAT execution, defect triage, retesting activities, and traceability between requirements and test cases.
Define and validate reconciliation controls including balancing rules, control totals, tie-outs, and exception handling processes.
Coordinate cutover and post-go-live stabilization activities for downstream processing and reporting cycles.
Maintain RAID logs, dependency tracking, decisions, and provide regular status updates to governance stakeholders.
Qualifications:
5–8 years of experience as a Systems Analyst / Business Systems Analyst in banking or financial services programs.
Experience in downstream, accounting, or reporting domains such as GL interfaces, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting preferred.
End-to-end project experience from requirements gathering through testing and deployment across at least two implementations.
Hands-on experience with TCS, Finacle, or Fiserv platforms (at least two preferred).
Experience working with cross-functional and multi-stakeholder teams.
