QA Engineer
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy, including detailed plans for timelines, resources, and methodologies.
  • Drive the creation of detailed test cases and scenarios covering all functional and non-functional aspects of the financial institution's system.
  • Lead the execution of test cases, ensuring accurate recording of all test results.
  • Prepare and present testing reports that include test results and defect analysis.
  • Oversee the identification, documentation, and resolution of defects found during testing.
  • Collaborate with software and system integration vendors to clarify testing requirements, address issues, and understand system specifications.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, including project managers, IT teams, and business units.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including a Test Manager role overseeing testing for large-scale IT projects in banking.
  • Proven experience in the Philippines market or Asia.
  • Proficiency in testing automation and SDLC tools (e.g., Karate, HP ALM, JIRA, Microfocus).
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience with non-functional testing (e.g., performance, availability).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
