The QC Analyst ensures the accuracy and quality of cost segregation projects by reviewing project data, performing engineering and QC checks, managing exports, and supporting international project teams.
Review and finalize confirmation charts with project coordinators.
Ensure project data (photos, notes, site visit details) is uploaded and organized.
Confirm projects are complete and ready for engineering review.
Perform initial engineering reviews of project classifications.
Ensure reclassifications meet established benchmarks.
Identify and correct common classification errors (e.g., HVAC, retaining walls, lighting).
Document corrections and escalate major issues when needed.
Perform detailed QC reviews to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
Work with the Team Lead and engineers to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain QC logs and documentation.
Manage project exports between International and Domestic teams.
Complete draft and final QC checks before project completion.
Maintain organized storage of project files.
Collaborate with the Team Lead and QC Accounting to improve workflows.
Participate in training to improve engineering and QC knowledge.
Assist with onboarding and guidance for new team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or at least 2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination).
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of reading construction plans and evaluating cost allocations.
Ability to determine asset class lives.
Strong attention to detail for quality control reviews.
Ability to manage deadlines and workflows.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to interpret written, oral, or scheduled instructions.
Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Ability to work remotely and maintain an ergonomic workspace.
