Responsibilities:
- Taking part in QA processes, reading and analysis of requirements, writing and implementation of test plans/cases, testing of websites/web applications
- Ensuring the overall quality of the sites delivered, functional and non-functional testing
- Writing, reviewing, and updating document procedures to enable faster troubleshooting and resolution
- Conduct thorough testing of websites and web applications, including functional, usability, performance, security, and cross-browser testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues, providing clear reports to developers and project managers
- Verify responsive design and mobile compatibility across multiple devices and screen sizes
- Test third-party integrations such as CRM, e-commerce platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics
- Ensure SEO best practices and web accessibility (WCAG) compliance
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to improve website performance and resolve issues
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new updates do not introduce errors
- Monitor and test website speed and performance, recommending optimizations
- Ensure security compliance and check for vulnerabilities in web applications
- Assist in writing and maintaining test plans, checklists, and automated test scripts where applicable
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related courses
- Proven experience in web quality assurance testing for WordPress, Shopify, Web App etc.
- Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, BrowserStack, Lighthouse, GTmetrix).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they affect website functionality.
- Experience in cross-browser and responsive design testing.
- Knowledge of SEO, web accessibility (WCAG standards), and security best practices.
- Experience in using bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Ability to perform API testing (Postman, RESTful API testing is a plus).
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git and Bitbucket.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear, detailed reports.
- Must be adaptable, flexible and possess a sense of urgency
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Amenable to work 9AM – 6PM, Mon - Fri; Onsite
